What to do if you are being abused

If you are still being abused – please find a trusted friend to speak to and confide in.
You don’t have to be afraid, no matter what the perpetrator threatens you with – they have no power!! You may feel like they have the power, but there is always somebody that can help.
Know that perpetrators are liars and will say anything to get you to do what they want and to meet their own perverted and distorted desires.
Find ways to try and avoid the perpetrator, i.e. don’t answer their calls, let them into your room etc.
If you have somebody that is aware of what is happening, have a code word that you share, and use it whenever the perpetrator is trying to get you alone to abuse you.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE and IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
